4.Who receives your data

Your data is accessible to authorised Flixedin staff and to providers who process it on our behalf, including:

  • Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL (Luxembourg): hosting and content delivery;
  • Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC: sign-in, analytics, advertising, and app services through Firebase;
  • Apple Distribution International Ltd.: sign-in;
  • Functional Software, Inc. (Sentry, United States): error monitoring.

For advertising, Google may act as an independent controller under its own privacy policy. We may also disclose data to public authorities where the law requires it, or to our advisers when needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

5.Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Some providers process data in the United States. These transfers rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses with additional safeguards where needed. You can request a copy of the relevant safeguards by contacting us.

6.How long we keep data

  • Account data and interactions: until you delete your account.
  • Messages and notices: as long as needed to handle them and any follow-up, including possible legal claims.
  • Analytics data: at most 14 months.
  • Consent choices: stored in your browser until you change them or clear your browser data.
  • Technical logs and error reports: for the short period needed for security and troubleshooting.

Data may be kept longer where the law requires it, or for the duration of a legal claim.

7.Cookies and similar technologies

Strictly necessary cookies keep the Service working, for example your sign-in session and your consent choices. They do not need your consent. Analytics and personalised advertising cookies are used only with your consent. You can accept, refuse or withdraw consent at any time, and refusing has no effect on your access to the Service.

Advertising choices are managed in Google's consent dialog, which has its own link. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

8.Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access restricted to authorised people, and reputable providers. No system is completely secure. If a personal data breach is likely to put your rights at high risk, we will inform you and the competent authority as the law requires.

9.Your rights

Under the GDPR and French law you have the right to:

  • access your data and receive a copy;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have your data deleted;
  • restrict processing, or object to processing based on our legitimate interest;
  • receive the data you gave us in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that took place before;
  • give instructions on what happens to your data after your death.

To exercise a right, email contact@flixedin.com. We reply within one month, which can be extended where the law allows. We may ask you to prove your identity if we have reasonable doubts.

You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, in particular the CNIL, 3 Place de Fontenoy, 75007 Paris (www.cnil.fr), or the authority in your country of residence.

10.Children

The Service is not directed at children under 15, and we do not knowingly create accounts for them. If you believe a child under 15 has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
